Working Week:

Monday – Friday, shifts to be confirmed with a 1-hour lunch break. Total hours per week: 37.50

To learn and understand the importance of the administration support function, leading to a supporting role to the administration and sales team.

This will include providing accurate and timely quotations/estimates whilst providing support and assistance to the sales and administration team.

Ensuring the sales and administration office is run professionally and accurately. Ensure all communication both verbal and written correspondence, excel the expected standards throughout the company at all times.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Type up quotes/estimates as and when required for Sales team and provide prices for customer enquiries over the phone, by email and via the quotation template
  • To provide professional, accurate and timely support to the administration and sales department
  • Complete tenders as and when required
  • Enter customer orders on to Sage as and when required
  • Maintain Seatable website updating with new products as and when required
  • Keep fuel receipts spreadsheet up-to-date and input fuel invoices on Sage
  • General housekeeping, ensuring meeting & training rooms and the admin office rooms are kept tidy as and when required. Monitor and maintain the stationary and beverages cabinets

Day to day duties will include:

  • Ensuring data is communicated effectively internally and externally
  • Provide backup assistance to the administration sales team
  • Ensuring all communications to customers/suppliers is effective and professional at all times
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding quotations, estimated delivery dates, prices etc.
  • Liaise with the sales team regarding quotations, customers, and suppliers
  • Research to provide alternative products as and when requested
  • Liaise with the operations manager for transport costs and delivery availability
  • Attend and be punctual for all lessons with regards to your apprenticeship programme
  • Complete all assignments with regards to your apprenticeship by the required timeline
  • Attend all work-based training/support sessions

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by the organisation which is relevant to your post within the company to meet the overall business objectives.

The company is located in the rural village of, there are good bus links – there is a train station in the neighbouring village of Denby Dale.

From Huddersfield Town Centre it will take an hour by bus.

GCSE’s at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in maths and English An IT qualification (or equivalent) would be desirable but not essential
