An enthusiastic, well-motivated and highly organised person is required to join a small but busy Customer Services team.

You will require good communication skills, excellent written English with the ability to prioritise your workload and work to agreed timescales. Good keyboard skills, using spreadsheets, familiarity with email, the internet and online shopping in particular Amazon and eBay would also be an advantage.
Also needed is a flexible approach to your work and a professional attitude as you will be liaising with suppliers, customers, warehouse staff and others within the company.

Duties include:

  • Dealing with incoming telephone calls and returning messages
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Printing and prioritising customer orders
  • Responding to customer queries via email and messaging services
  • Updating websites with product information
  • Placing orders with suppliers
  • Liaising with couriers on delivery issues
  • Monitoring Stock/Inventory

As part of your contract of employment completion of the Apprenticeship Training Programme forms part of your duties as well as helping your personal and professional development; the requirements to complete the programme are as follows:

  • Attend and be punctual for all induction sessions
  • Attend and be punctual for all lessons with regards to your apprenticeship programme
  • Complete all required assignments with regards to your apprenticeship by the required timeline
  • Build up your portfolio of evidence on-going during your apprenticeship programme
  • Access support from your tutor/assessor as and when required
  • Access support from your manager with regards to any evidence requirements or support as and when required
  • Attend all work-based training/support sessions

This is not an exhaustive list; this is a brief overview. You will however be required to undertake other duties that are relevant to the post as and when required to meet the business’ objectives.
